Jim Knowles is a retired New York high school teacher, with previous management work experience in the auto dealership industry.
He is familiar with many auto manufacturer safety rating comparison features, to include: Front-Side-Knee mounted airbags and Advanced Airbag Systems (AAS), Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Traction Control (TRAC), Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS), Electronic Brake-Face Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), Smart Stop Technology (SST), and side-view mirror Blind-spot Monitor Technology (BMT), Child Restraint Technology – Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children (LATCH), 3-Point Occupant Seatbelts with pre-tensioners/force limiters, Whiplash-Injury-Lessening Safety Seats (WIL), Crumple Zone Technology (CZT).
